Our client is a global specialist in billing and customer care solutions for the Utilities market.​ Servicing markets worldwide and an enviable client list, their capabilities suite for energy utilities companies is backed by their specialist IT services, proven implementation track record, and ability to deliver quick-to-market solutions.​

Due to a recent acquisition in North America, a unique opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated leader to drive growth and assist with the integration of the US business into the Group's global network.​

Working closely with the global Executive Leadership team, the President of the North American business will be responsible for managing all aspects of the division - including Sales & Marketing, Client services Product and Delivery Solutions.​

Responsibilities

- Work closely with the global Executive group to provide leadership and champion business strategy in North America
- Manage and maintain key customer relationships
- Overall ownership of the North American P&L
- Take accountability for leading and driving ad hoc project work
- Identify & generate new business development opportunities
- Manage a group of approximately 30 people (including remote staff)
- Align policies & procedures with existing corporate strategy
- Drive process improvement and implementation
- Work with the team on RFPs and contract negotiations

The successful candidate

You will possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience within a highly commercial environment.​ Ideally, your experience will include time spent within a software solutions business servicing the Utilities sector.​

Additional attributes you must possess:

- Proven ability to manage, lead and mentor a team
- The ability to communicate with people at all levels from key customers to internal stakeholders
- Experience working collaboratively with senior executives on an international scale
- A high level of commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically whilst maintaining a hands on approach
- A motivated and passionate approach towards work with a high level of energy
- International experience will be highly regarded
