Job Description

Marketing Manager of Tile & Stone Installation Products
(Minimum of 5 years experience with Tile & Stone Installation Products Required)
ARDEX and W.W. Henry are global leaders in the development, manufacturing and distribution of high-performance specialty cements, adhesives and building products for substrate preparation, floor covering installations, wall finishing and exterior concrete repair for commercial and residential applications. We are currently looking to fill the position of: Marketing Manager of Tile & Stone Installation Products

Job Output/Responsibilities/Key Processes§ Design and develop the Tile & Stone Installation Market Segment (TSIMS) North America marketing strategy, including segmentation, brand, product, and innovation
§ Assist and support the business unit VP &GM’s with pricing strategies maximizing gross profit margins and launching value pricing initiatives
§ Design and develop marketing programs to support commercial and partner networks and interact with all players in the market place: distributors, customers, industry associations, distributors, etc.
§ Participate in the budgeting and long-range planning process for the market segment (annual budget, long range plan, and forecast)
§ Develop and implement of the overall product and innovation strategy for the TSIMS working hand-in-hand with the business unit VP &GM’s
§ Lead RNPI, NPI and commercialization process for the TSIMS:
o Research new markets and trends
o Understand and track competitive environment, trends and products
o Benchmark existing product line versus competition, defines and fills gaps
o Drive commissioning process of new products with R&D
o Maximize use of global product catalog (global cross selling)
o Lead RNPI process and team
o Lead cross functional NPI team, follows NPI process for all product development
§ Participate in the marketing communications process and budget for the TSIMS:
o Oversee development of all printed and electronic marketing and communication pieces for all business units, including product information pieces, promotional materials newsletters, press releases and website development/maintenance
o Oversee compliance of corporate branding standards
o Manage trademark and legal review process for all existing and new products.
o Support tradeshow display and show support
§ Lead all TSIP packaging including new packaging design, prototypes and mockups.
§ All other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Skills/Attributes Required
§ Five (5) years Marketing or product related discipline experience in the tile and stone installation market segment in North America
§ Excellent people management skills
§ Strong experience in working with tile and stone channels: distributors, agents, installers
§ Knowledge of and ability to develop strategic and tactical plans
§ Broad knowledge of tile adhesive systems, product and technology portfolio
§ Broad knowledge of and established network at key market segments and flooring installation practices
§ Strong relationships with all key industry players: customers, distributors, installers
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong organizational skills
§ Detail oriented, accountability, assertiveness, dependability, organizational, responsiveness, and teamwork are essential
§ Good judgment and problem-solving skills
§ Excellent listening skills
§ Able to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced environment
§ Strong team leadership skills, ability to effectively direct the activities of multi-functional work teams.
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes and the Internet
§ Must possess an excellent work ethic
§ Strong focus on external customers needs
§ Ability to work independently and with little direction
§ Ability to spend 50% of the time traveling domestically and in NAFTA

§ Minimum requirement a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
