Description: AmeriFoam Insulation LLC (AmeriFoam) is pleased to present this entry level, full time, opportunity for a qualified candidate to start employment in the home improvement/energy efficiency field as a “Foam Insulation Estimator/Technician”. AmeriFoam is located in Canal Fulton, Ohio, about twenty minutes southwest of Akron, Ohio. This is a full time position with benefits as described below.
This opportunity requires some limited overnight travel, a physically capable individual with a valid Ohio drivers license (i.e., without restrictions), and a residence within forty miles of Canal Fulton, Ohio (i.e., the later within thirty days after hire). AmeriFoam also requires complete compliance with a Drug Free Workplace Policy prior to permanent placement. A partial list of additional requirements and qualifications are described below.
Purpose: To gather information from potential customers regarding their insulation needs (home/business) and provide answers, solutions, and job estimate. In addition, work on job sites with crew to complete insulation jobs as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements:

- Associates degree or relevant work history in construction or sales is required.
- Customer service experience.
- Knowledge of basic home construction.
- Blueprint knowledge a plus.
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software, especially Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

- Travel to and from set scheduled appointments, arriving at appointed time.
- Provide customer with knowledge about type of product needed, answer all questions and provide solution to customer’s insulation requirements.
- Take measurements of project and provide a quote/sell to customer.
- Record all quotes, providing all information to office.
- Maintain /update inventory status, for future job schedule.
- Work on job site when additional manpower is required.
- Maintaining safe and clean working environment.
- Contributing to team effort in office or in the field.
Skills Needed:
Communication skills - written, verbal and ability to influence customers to make an informed decision are essential. Solving and assessing problems, estimating, power tools, ability to gather information, attention to detail and accuracy, work as a team player with constant emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.
